Booking an Appointment:

Login to your account.
Choose an available time slot with a specific tutor.
Select the type of tutoring you want: Online (video conferencing) or In-Person Tutoring (in C-596A).
Follow the steps to upload both your assignment draft and directions handout. For in-person tutoring, bring your draft and assignment prompt to the Center.
ETUTORING: No longer available.
ONLINE: Login at the appointed time for your Online session, OR
IN-PERSON: Attend your session at the physical Writing Center. We are located inside of HALC, turn left once you enter till you reach C-596A.
Please note that if you do not show for appointments or cancel last-minute (within three hours) three times, you will need to see a supervisor to re-activate your account. If you have forgotten your password, click on the "Reset Password" link.

The goal of the Writing Center is to help students enrolled at Hostos CC become better readers and writers. We facilitate the improvement of writing skills and focus on higher order concerns.
